

The Director Common of the Nationwide Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier Common Yushau Ahmed, has introduced that corps members will start receiving a revised month-to-month allowance of N77,000 beginning in February 2025.
Talking on Thursday whereas addressing the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream II corps members in Katsina, Ahmed revealed that the increment has been integrated into the 2025 Federal Authorities price range.
“This month (January) has already ended, however as soon as the price range is handed. By subsequent month (February), you’ll begin receiving N77,000 as a substitute of the same old N33,000,” he acknowledged.
He highlighted that the approval for the brand new allowance got here from the Federal Authorities and inspired corps members to indicate appreciation by being diligent throughout their service 12 months.
Reaffirming his dedication to their welfare and safety, Ahmed assured corps members that they’d not be posted to areas experiencing safety threats.
