SC rejects pleas seeking criminal action against Udhayanidhi Stalin

NEW DELHI: Supreme Court docket on Monday refused to entertain writ petitions in search of legal motion in opposition to Tamil Nadu Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin for his speech in Sept 2023 calling for the eradication of ‘Sanatana Dharma‘.
A bench of Justices Bela M Trivedi and Prasanna B Varale raised questions and requested the petitioners on how can such aid be sought by submitting writ petitions below Article 32 of the Structure, referring to PIL.
