अथातो मुखमण्डिकाप्रतिषेधं व्याख्यास्यामः ||१||

कपित्थबिल्वतर्कारीवांशीगन्धर्वहस्तकाः |

स्वरसैर्भृङ्गवृक्षाणां तथाऽजहरिगन्धयोः |
तैलं वसां च संयोज्य पचेदभ्यञ्जने शिशोः ||४||
Parisecana – Water for bathing / showering the kid bothered by Mukhamandika Graha must be boiled and ready with the under talked about herbs –

मधुरे पञ्चमूले च कनीयसि घृतं पचेत् ||५||
वचा सर्जरसः कुष्ठं सर्पिश्चोद्धूपनं हितम् |
धारयेदपि जिह्वाश्च चाषचीरल्लिसर्पजाः ||६||
Ghrta – Ghee ready with the under talked about components must be given for ingesting / licking for the kid –
– Madhulika
– Paya – milk
– Tugakshiri,
– Madhura Gana / Kakolyadi Gana group of herbs
– Hrsva Pancamula
Dhupana – Fumigation must be administered with Vacā, Sarjarasa, and Kustha added with ghee.
Dharana – Amulets within the type of tongue of casa chook, ciralli chook and snake must be tied on the physique of the kid.
वर्णकं चूर्णकं माल्यमञ्जनं पारदं तथा |
मनःशिलां चोपहरेद्गोष्ठमध्ये बलिं तथा ||७||
पायसं सपुरोडाशं बल्यर्थमुपसंहरेत् |
मन्त्रपूताभिरद्भिश्च तत्रैव स्नपनं हितम् ||८||
अलङ्कृता रूपवती सुभगा कामरूपिणी |
गोष्ठमध्यालयरता पातु त्वां मुखमण्डिका ||९||
Bali – Oblation must be given with the under talked about components and shall be provided in goshta Madhya i.e. cow pen –
– Varnaka (kampillaka),
– Cürpaka (lime stone),
– Garlands,
– Flowers,
– Anjana
– Parada – mercury
– Manassila
– Payasa – milk pudding
– Purodasa – pancake
Snana and Puja – Water sanctified with sacred hymns is used to wash the kid there itself i.e. within the cow pen. Later, prayers to please Goddess Mukhamandika must be provided as – “Goddess Mukhamandika, you might be adorned with ornaments. You might be lovely and pleasing to take a look at. You’ve got the capability to take any type that you simply want and also you all the time prefer to reside within the cow-pen. Please defend the kid.’
इति श्री सुसुतसंहितायामुत्तरतन्त्रान्तर्गत कुमारतन्त्रे मुखमण्डिकाप्रतिषेधोनाम (नवमोऽध्यायः, आदितः) पञ्चत्रिंशत्तमोऽध्यायः।।३५।।
